• Use asterisk * for wildcard search:  *communism *urbanization
• Vary your search terms! "Manhattan Project" "nuclear bomb" "nuclear fission" 
• Limit by domain: site:gov or site:edu may be helpful restrictions
• Limit to country: site:de would bring results from Germany for example
